TRT for men. Built from a real workup.

TRT replaces the testosterone your body has stopped making enough of, dosed from a full lab panel and an InBody scan rather than a 20-minute online intake. Injection-based, monitored for the markers that matter, and built at your 90-minute Blueprint visit in Wethersfield.

Getting started

The Superior Blueprint

Visit90 minutes · in person, Wethersfield

TRT is self-pay, and the Blueprint comes first. Physical exam, InBody scan, and a personalized lab panel reviewed in the room.

Payment options include all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and financing through CareCredit and Cherry. Lab work is often billable to your own insurance.

Key takeaways

  • TRT at Superior Health & Wellness is injection-based and dosed from a full lab panel, never a standard subscription dose.
  • Every program starts with the 90-minute Blueprint: exam, InBody scan, and a men’s panel reviewed in the room.
  • Monitoring covers testosterone, estradiol, hematocrit, PSA, and lipids, with a full recheck at three months.
  • We do not offer pellets for men: injections keep the dose adjustable as your markers move.
Who it’s for

Who TRT is for.

TRT fits men whose testosterone has dropped below their functional range and who feel it. Most of our TRT patients are 32 to 65, training and eating reasonably well, with a cluster of these signals.

A South Asian man in his late forties at home in a warm interior, composed but visibly run down.
Signals worth a real look
  • Energy that fades by mid-afternoon.
  • Plateaued workouts or slipping strength.
  • Recovery that takes days, not hours.
  • Lighter, less restorative sleep.
  • Lower libido and less reliable erections.
  • Flatter drive at work and at home.
  • More weight at the waist, less muscle on the frame.

If several are familiar, a full lab panel is the next step.

The therapy

What TRT actually does.

Testosterone replacement therapy restores testosterone to the range your body ran on when it worked well, set by your labs and symptoms together rather than a default dose.

Most men notice energy and sleep first, within weeks. Libido and body composition follow over the 6-to-12-week window, as training and nutrition meet a normal testosterone level.

TRT is a program, not a prescription: labs are rechecked at three months, the dose is adjusted, and monitoring continues into maintenance.

What your dose is built from

  • A full men’s panel: total and free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, hematocrit, PSA, and lipids.
  • An InBody body composition scan.
  • Your symptom history and a physical exam.
  • A three-month recheck that adjusts the dose to your results.
How we work

How our TRT differs from the franchise model.

Most TRT clinics, and the online platforms advertising during football games, run the same play: a short intake, a standard dose, a monthly subscription, and a rotating provider. We run a different one.

Discovery Call

Free, 15 minutes, with your provider. An honest conversation about what’s going on and whether the practice is the right fit.

The Blueprint

90 minutes in person at our Wethersfield clinic: a full health history, physical exam, InBody scan, and a men’s lab panel reviewed with you in the room.

Your protocol

The program comes at the end of that visit, dosed from what we find across total and free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, hematocrit, PSA, and lipids.

One provider

Your provider sees every patient personally and stays with you into maintenance, with labs rechecked at three months and beyond.

Nothing is prescribed before the data exists. If TRT is not the right starting point, we say so.

Delivery

Injection-based, not pellets.

TRT at Superior Health & Wellness is injection-based, administered in-office or at home.

Injections give us tight dose control, so we can adjust week to week as your hematocrit, estradiol, or symptoms move. We do not offer pellets for men.

Pellets cannot be adjusted once placed, which removes the lever TRT depends on. That non-adjustability is why we make the call up front, before a problem shows up in a lab recheck. Pellets remain a women’s BHRT option here, not a men’s TRT one.

The monitoring

What we monitor.

TRT done well is a monitoring program, not just a dose. At the Blueprint, the 3-month recheck, and on maintenance, we track these markers. When a marker moves, the conversation happens in the room with your provider.

  • Total and free testosteroneDosed to a target that matches your symptoms, not the top of the reference range.
  • EstradiolToo low hurts bone, mood, and libido; too high brings side effects. We adjust to keep it in range.
  • HematocritTRT can thicken the blood, so we adjust dose or rhythm if it climbs.
  • PSABaselined at the Blueprint and rechecked on a regular cadence.
  • Lipids and metabolic markersWe track these so the whole panel lands right, not just the testosterone line.

Common questions

Common questions about TRT.

TRT restores testosterone to the range a man’s body ran on when it worked well. At Superior Health & Wellness it is injection-based, dosed from a personalized lab panel and InBody data, and monitored on a regular cadence for estradiol, hematocrit, and PSA alongside testosterone itself.
The signal cluster usually shows up before the labs confirm it: afternoon energy crashes, longer recovery, flatter drive, lower libido, lighter sleep, and body composition shifting despite consistent training. The Blueprint runs a full panel so the answer is in your numbers, not a symptom score alone.
Subscription telehealth and TRT-only franchises like Hims and GameDay run on a minimum workup, a standard dose, and a rotating provider. Our program starts with a 90-minute Blueprint, a full men’s panel including hematocrit, estradiol, and PSA, an InBody scan, and a dose built specifically for you. Your provider sees every patient personally and stays with you into maintenance.
TRT can accelerate male-pattern hair loss in men already genetically predisposed. It does not cause hair loss on its own. We discuss your family pattern at the Blueprint and factor hair retention into the protocol if it matters to you.
For appropriately screened men, TRT is generally considered safe when it is dosed from labs and monitored. The monitoring is the safety: we track hematocrit, estradiol, PSA, lipids, and metabolic markers at the Blueprint and on a regular cadence after, and we adjust the dose if anything moves. Recent peer-reviewed analyses have not linked properly monitored TRT to elevated cardiovascular risk in screened patients.
No. We do not offer pellets for men. Pellets cannot be adjusted once placed, and TRT needs the ability to respond to hematocrit, estradiol, and PSA shifts. Injection-based delivery gives us that lever. Pellets are a women’s BHRT option at Superior Health & Wellness.
Yes. TRT can suppress your body’s own testosterone production, which can lower sperm production while you are on it. For men who want to protect their fertility, there are alternative protocols that support testosterone optimization without suppressing natural production. We discuss those options at the Blueprint and build your program accordingly.
