Key takeaways

  • Peptides are short amino-acid chains that signal one system at a time, like recovery, sleep, or body composition.
  • Every protocol is prescribed by your provider and dosed from your Blueprint labs, never a default stack.
  • Peptides are sourced through licensed 503A/503B compounding pharmacies and monitored with regular lab work.
  • Most protocols run 6 to 12 weeks, with a mid-program check-in to confirm the response.
Who it’s for

Who peptide therapy is for.

Peptide therapy fits patients who already train, sleep, and eat with intention but have a recovery, sleep, or body-composition gap the usual levers are not closing. Most of our peptide patients show a cluster of these signals.

Targeted signals, one goal at a time
  • Recovery from training is taking longer than it used to.
  • Sleep is shorter or shallower, and the morning does not feel like rest.
  • Body composition has plateaued despite consistent nutrition and training.
  • A nagging soft-tissue area or slow-healing spot that should have moved on.
  • Focus is harder to hold, and cognitive sharpness has dulled.
  • Hormone therapy is helping, and a recovery or body-composition gap remains.

If several are familiar, a full workup is the next step, not a protocol off a shelf.

The therapy

What peptides do.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in the body, telling specific systems to do something they were already designed to do.

Some recovery peptides are associated with tissue and joint repair. Others may support deeper sleep, body composition shifts when paired with training, growth hormone signaling, or cognitive focus.

Peptides are not a substitute for the work. They do not replace training, nutrition, sleep, or hormone optimization when those are the actual gap. Used correctly, they are a targeted complement to a program that already has a foundation.

That is why peptide therapy here always sits inside the Blueprint workflow: we confirm the foundation, identify the specific gap, and select a protocol matched to it.

Our formulary

Peptides we commonly use.

The peptide landscape moves quickly, and we stay current with the latest research and protocols. These are the peptides we incorporate most often. Every protocol is prescribed by your provider, sourced from a licensed 503A/503B compounding pharmacy, and monitored with regular lab work.

Recovery and tissue repair

BPC-157Pentadeca Arginate

Supports the body’s natural healing at the cellular level, helps manage inflammation, and may support recovery from injury, surgery, and joint or soft-tissue damage.

TB-500

Supports muscle recovery and flexibility, helps manage inflammation, and supports healthy tissue repair and new blood-vessel formation.

Metabolic health and body composition

AOD 9604

Supports fat metabolism by encouraging the body to release stored fat rather than store it, and may support joint and bone health.

Sermorelin

Supports the body’s own growth-hormone production to aid fat loss, lean-muscle development, and deeper sleep and recovery.

CJC-1295with Ipamorelin

A paired protocol that supports fat loss, lean-muscle development, recovery, sleep quality, and daytime energy and performance.

Tesamorelin

Targets visceral (deep abdominal) fat, supports lean-muscle maintenance, and supports healthy metabolic function.

Sexual wellness and skin

PT-141Bremelanotide

Supports sexual desire and arousal in both women and men by acting on the nervous system’s sexual-response centers, not on blood flow alone.

GHK-Cu

A regenerative copper peptide that supports the body’s natural repair systems, collagen production, firmer skin, and tissue healing.

The peptide space is evolving quickly, and we work with more than what’s listed here. Have a specific peptide in mind? Bring it up on your free Discovery Call and your provider will tell you whether it fits your goals.

With hormones

How peptides fit with hormone optimization.

A lot of patients arrive at peptides through hormone optimization.

They are already on BHRT for women or TRT for men, feeling the sleep and energy lift, and they want to close the recovery, body-composition, or cognitive gap that hormones alone do not fully address.

Peptides layer cleanly on top of hormone therapy when the labs support it. Recovery peptides may support the training response BHRT or TRT has already started to restore. Growth hormone peptides may support body composition shifts when nutrition and training are dialed in.

Hormone therapy is not a prerequisite, but the two work together often enough that we evaluate both at the Blueprint when your goals point that way.

How we work

How we approach peptide protocols.

Most clinics offering peptides start with a short visit and a default stack. We start with the data.

Discovery Call

Free, 15 minutes, with your provider. An honest conversation about what’s going on and whether the practice is the right fit.

The Blueprint

A 90-minute in-person visit covering a full health history, physical exam, InBody body composition scan, and a personalized lab panel reviewed with you in the room.

Your protocol

Comes at the end of that visit, dosed from your data and your goals, selected from peptides appropriate for compounding through licensed US pharmacies.

One targeted protocol

We do not run kitchen-sink stacks. One protocol with a defined goal and a checkpoint produces a clearer signal than three peptides at once that nobody can attribute results to.

Our provider sees every patient personally and tells you honestly when peptides are the right tool, when they are not, and when hormone optimization should be addressed first.

The checkpoints

What we monitor.

A peptide protocol that is not measured is a guess. We build a checkpoint into every program so the data tells us whether it is working. Not every protocol works for every patient; the point of measuring is to know quickly when something is not landing, and to change course before months of injections produce nothing.

  • Baseline at the BlueprintPersonalized lab panel, InBody scan, sleep and recovery history, training and nutrition baseline, and symptom inventory.
  • Mid-program check-inUsually around weeks 4 to 6. We review the markers that matter for your goal, adjust dosing if the response calls for it, and confirm the program is still the right fit.
  • End-of-program reviewRepeat InBody, repeat targeted labs where appropriate, and an honest read on whether to repeat, rotate, or stop.
The program

What’s included in your peptide program.

Every peptide program at Superior Wellness runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on the indication, with follow-ups in person or virtual for established patients.

  • An indication-specific protocolSelected from your Blueprint data and your goals.
  • Licensed-pharmacy sourcingPeptides sourced through licensed US compounding pharmacies.
  • Self-administration at homeWith clear instruction from your provider and supplies provided.
  • A mid-program check-inTo review response and adjust dosing if needed.
  • Direct provider accessFor protocol and side-effect questions.
  • An end-of-program reviewWith an honest read on whether to repeat, rotate, or stop.

Common questions

Common questions about peptide therapy.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in the body. They tell specific systems, like tissue repair, sleep regulation, or growth hormone release, to do something they were already designed to do. The right protocol depends on what gap you are trying to close.
Hormones and peptides are both biological signals that act at different levels. Hormones like estradiol and testosterone shape large systems across the body. Peptides are smaller and more targeted, often nudging a single pathway. At Superior Wellness, peptides are usually a complement to hormone optimization, not a replacement for it.
Most peptide programs at Superior Wellness run 6 to 12 weeks, and the exact length depends on the indication. We build a baseline at the Blueprint, check in mid-program to review response, and do an end-of-program review to decide whether to repeat, rotate, or stop. Programs are not open-ended.
No. Hormone therapy is not a prerequisite for peptides. The two work together often, and the Blueprint workup shows whether hormones are part of the gap you are trying to close. If they are, we usually address hormone optimization first, then layer peptides on top once that foundation is in place.
The peptides we use are sourced through licensed US compounding pharmacies and prescribed by your provider based on your Blueprint data. We work within the framework that applies to compounded therapies in Connecticut. We do not source from online vendors or grey-market suppliers, and we do not write for peptides we are not comfortable monitoring.
Yes, and many patients do. Recovery, body composition, and cognitive peptides layer cleanly on top of TRT or BHRT when the labs support it. The Blueprint is where the combination decision gets made. Your provider reviews your hormone data, your peptide candidate protocols, and your goals together.
Some patients notice changes within the first few weeks, usually in sleep or recovery. Others notice the shift more clearly at the mid-program check-in or the end-of-program review when the InBody and the markers come back. We do not promise specific outcomes. We do measure, and we tell you honestly if the response is not strong enough to justify repeating.
